The artistComputer specialist born in 1944, I found with the Net the possibility to show my painted works.
I tried several techniques: first black pencil, then oil, watercolor, acrylic, bister and mixed techniques.
I paint generaly in oil, for the very large colorpalet and the slow drying of oil.
I like also to make portrets with black pencil and white Conté . It is always a challenge to convert a colorportret to a monochrome black and white portret.
My aim is to enjoy painting and make my technique and the quality of my works better.

There is a large variety of oilpaint colors. They dry very slow and this can be very long. Advantage : you can work in it during the drying process.

My manner to draw portraits is to draw them on a grey paper (Canson) and use black and white pencils (Conté).
Then you have to convert every color in a range of black to white.
Contrast and luminosity is of course important in this process.
It’s a good exercise. MixedIn this gallery, you can see some combinations of different techniques.
For instance acrylic combined with oil and oilpastel. Or watercolor combined with ink or dry pastel.

Some are painted with oilcolor on canvas or cardboard. Others have been made with acrylic or simply drawn with black and white pencils on grey Canson paper.
